Tufflift Racing reveals livery for new Audi
Prior to AWC Race Tasmania commencing, Tufflift Racing has revealed the livery to adorn its new latest generation Audi RS3 LMS TCR for the 2023 Supercheap Auto TCR Australia season.
The new Audi set to be driven by race winning privateer Zac Soutar in this year’s title will carry naming rights support from Tufflift Hoists, a long-time supporter of the family-run operation.
Soutar took the wraps off the new livery, which appears menacing in its black and yellow livery featuring Tufflift predominately across its flanks.
Continued support comes from Spicers, Flying Brick Cider Co and EcoCleanFM as the team welcomes Discount Electrical Supplies to the program.
It’s been a rapid preparation since Tufflift Racing picked up the new Audi from Gibson Freight last week as the family team together with many volunteers chipped in to ensure it was prepared for its maiden appearance at Symmons Plains.
Soutar is expected to feature strongly in this year’s title fight after taking a maiden win at the corresponding event in 2022 as he added three further podiums in a campaign where the privateer finished sixth in the outright standings.
Previously having driven a Honda Civic Type R TCR, tomorrow’s Kumho tyre test provides the first opportunity for the Geelong local to drive the second generation Audi.
This is the second of this type of variant Audi to arrive in the country following the former Jay Hanson example now to be driven by Will Brown in 2023 featuring major support from LIQUI MOLY.
AWC Race Tasmania is where Soutar will debut his new Audi this weekend.
