Garry Rogers Motorsport unveils 2022 Valvoline Racing liveries

Garry Rogers Motorsport (GRM) revealed its 2022 racing liveries for its competing cars on today along with Valvoline Australia ahead of the AWC Race Tasmania event at Symmons Plains Raceway this weekend.

Valvoline, partner of GRM for 34 years, feature on this years’ liveries on its Supercheap Auto TCR Australia, Turtle Wax Trans Am and S5000 entries.

“Valvoline are part of the GRM family and to have this iconic brand supporting our team in three-national championships including TCR, the fastest growing Touring Car category in the world; the NASCAR inspired Trans Ams and the fastest and most exhilarating race cars in the southern hemisphere, the S5000s is something we are very proud of at GRM,” said Barry Rogers, Director of Garry Rogers Motorsport

The team has taken inspiration from the U.S. with the cars now a striking candy red; a homage to Valvoline’s American roots and GRM’s longstanding partnership with The Original Engine Oil brand. 

“Valvoline is proud to continue our long standing partnership with GRM and excited to reveal the new racing liveries of Team Valvoline GRM,” said Michelle Brewin, Managing Director Valvoline Australia / Pacific.

“Having the new livery of the S5000, TCR and Trans Am pay homage to The Original Engine Oil with the red will see the team really stand out on track.

“Valvoline and GRM have been partners for over 30 years. The Team at GRM are not only a great motorsport team, but their work ethic and family values resonate with Valvoline’s culture.

The team and cars assembled at Launceston’s Symmons Plains Raceway in the lead up to AWC Race Tasmania revealing the red paint jobs alongside this year’s Team Valvoline GRM drivers including Aaron Cameron (TCR), Kody Garland (TCR), James Golding (S5000) and Nathan Herne (S5000 and Trans Am).

The opening round of the 2022 Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series, S5000 Australian Drivers’ Championship and Turtle Wax Trans Am Series will be held at Symmons Plains Raceway for the second running of the AWC Race Tasmania on February 11-13.
