Australian country rock icons to perform at Race Tasmania

Race fans at Symmons Plains Raceway will enjoy a special appearance by Australian country rock band Wolfe Brothers.

The family double act will perform at the famous Launceston motorsports venue on Sunday between 2-3pm, and will also sign the Australian national anthem live – both for trackside fans and viewers on the screens of the Seven Network.

The Tasmanian band, formed of brothers Tom and Nick Wolfe and along with childhood friends Brodie Rainbird and Casey Kostiuk came to prominence after being the runners-up of Australia’s Got Talent in 2012.

The award winning band has been nominated for three ARIA Music Awards, and has also won three Country Music Awards of Australia including song of the year, group of the year and contemporary country album of the year.

Wolfe Brothers is just one extra element to add to a huge three days of racing action at Symmons Plains Raceway that will include the opening rounds of the Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series, VHT S5000 Australian Drivers’ Championship, Gulf Western Oil Touring Car Masters and the National Trans Am Series.
