Aaron Seton claims big prize pool after victory in Tasmanian Ten Thousand
Aaron Seton has won $10,000 after securing victory in the inaugural Roadways Tasmanian Ten Thousand at Baskerville Raceway.
The son of Supercars legend Glenn broke down in tears after storming to a convincing win over Owen Kelly and Nathan Herne at the historic 2.01km circuit near Hobart.
Seton led from lights to flag, beating wen Kelly into the first turn and never surrounding the lead.
Kelly offered an early challenge, but eventually faded, claiming a strong second place ahead of Nathan Herne, Brett Holdsworth and Tim Shaw.
The final race of the weekend was a relative straight forward affair, with no major incidents. The only worry was a late grass fire with two laps to go. The race ran with a safety car period.
